Factory Reset
Unlock a hard locked 100G ERT Module, change its utility ID, tamper, and read parameters back to the factory default values, and put the ERT into Factory Ship Mode. Factory Reset doesn't change the ERT's security state.
You must have Factory Reset permissions to perform this function.

magnet application |
Locked 100G DL endpoints require a magnet application to complete the unlock portion of the Factory Reset operation. Markings on the ERT indicate the correct location to position the magnet (Itron part number MSE-0159-003). If Field Tools prompts you to do so, apply the magnet to the ERT and hold it in this position until the Factory Reset function is complete, and you receive a success message. |
